FIGHT TO SAVE OUR 59/60 BUS SERVICE!

The 59/60 Bus is Under Threat

West Northants Council has published its draft budget for 2023/2024, which will go live from 1st April.
There are 8 council subsidised bus routes in the West Northants area, including the 59/60, which runs the A5199 corridor between Northampton and
Market Harborough. It includes stops in Brixworth, Spratton, Creaton, Hollowell, Guilsborough, Thornby, Welford, Naseby, Clipston and Marston
Trussell. For many, this service provides a lifeline and is their only means of independence and access to services outside of their own village.
Without the council subsidy, it is almost certain that this route will cease to operate. For the past four years, many village parish councils have made
a further contribution to help keep this bus running for its residents.

Please join our campaign to fight to save this bus route.

FIGHT TO SAVE OUR 59/60 BUS SERVICE!

We, the undersigned, call upon West Northants Council to reconsider it’s budget proposals and continue to provide the subsidy to ensure that the 59/60 bus service is able to continue to provide it’s vital service along the A5199 corridor.
