Sally Beardsworth

Sally is married to Mike, she has two sons Daniel and Chris also two grandsons Billy and Caden who live in Virginia USA.She lives in the middle of her ward and many people drop in with various problems, she has served the people of Kingsthorpe over 30 years and the people of St David’s and Queens Park for 16 years. In the years 2005 to 2006 Sally had the privilege of serving as Mayor of Northampton Town, when she met so many wonderful people, care givers and volunteers who make the town what it is today. Sally has always championed the area she represents and holds the Administration to account to make sure the tax payers get value for money. She enjoys walking with Mike and dog Lilly. Stewart Tolley

Stewart has lived in Northamptonshire for six years and is a history lecturer at Oxford University’s Continuing Education Department. He also runs a company providing writing workshops for graduate students. Before moving to the county he served for four years as a Town Councillor in Tring. A passionate believer in education and skills, he is looking forward to bringing his experience in the sector to improve opportunities for young people in Northants. In his spare time Stewart enjoys hosting and participating in pub quizzes, boardgames and visiting sites of historic interest.

Tony Woods

Tony was Leader of Northampton Borough Council from 2007 to 2010 and councillor for St Davids Ward from 2003 to 2011. He took over as Leader shortly after the Council was judged to the worst performing in the country. Under his leadership they progressed to be the Most Improved Council and were release from close government monitoring. He is particularly interested in local economic development, housing and the environment. Tony is a professional engineer specialising in automation and robotics.
