Carl Guest



Carl has lived in Northampton since 2000 originally running his own aerospace product business from Round Spinney Ind Est.  After a period of living in France in the hospitality industry, he is now working in a FTSE100 business specialising in management process and process automation.  He has a passion for the environment and animal welfare, as well as a champion for diversity and inclusion and supporting their voices.  In his spare time he enjoys travelling, puzzling out of escape rooms and spending time with his dog.

Martin Sawyer


Martin has lived in the Abington and Phippsville area since 1983 and he runs a small business based in Abington.In recent years he has been an active campaigner and supporter of community projects in the Headlands area.

He is a director of Abington Community Centre and was a leading part of the team that saved Abington Library from closure when the Conservative run County Council withdrew funding. 

He has an Environmental degree and used this background knowledge to help the Liberal Democrats get both the County and Borough Councils to declare the climate emergency and commit to a Zero Carbon strategy.He has also campaigned for better cycling infrastructure and improved air quality in the town, forcing the council to be more transparent with air quality data.

Stephen Tomlinson


Living in Northampton since 1990, married with two children. A Food Scientist/Technologist and an Master Business Administration led to over 40 years’ experience in the food industry covering Technical, Innovation, Commercial and Business turnaround situations. A member of a local Rotary club,  Trustee of a small Multi Academy Trust. Making things better is a passion along with cooking, model boats, photography and family
